"One star is because the owner was very nice, and the stylist who washed my hair was also very kind. Another star is because the place was very pleasant, quite clean, nicely decorated, and the atmosphere was comfortable and peaceful. You can tell they care about this place. I arrived 10 minutes early and they saw me almost immediately, without waiting. When I got to the haircut, despite giving the impression that they wanted to understand me and what I wanted, the reality is that their attitude and body language suggested the opposite. For example: - I want short bangs - "Oh, that cowlick with short bangs is going to be worse" (she doesn't usually say that) - I want a bob at this angle - "At that angle? Really? Better the other way around." - I don't want two clumps of hair - "But that way it'll curl less." (I don't care) - A little scrunching is all I need for definition - "Oh, but definition is the most important thing about curly hair." - I cut my own hair because I couldn't get to my trusted hairdresser in London. "What's the point?" - I don't like hairdryers; they stress me out and are really noisy. - "Oh, well, if the kids fall asleep, it's just white noise." Do I really not care? That's not my experience. And so on, the whole time. Literally almost everything I said was met with an adversarial or questioning response, accompanied by grimaces, a very dry tone, and progressively resigned faces and sighs. It was exhausting and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. To top it all off, she mentions in a sly tone that it's obvious I cut my own bangs and proceeds to give me two uneven snips at my temples, outside of the bangs, which aren't even particularly straight. This is the first time something like this has happened to me at this level of intensity, and perhaps I needed a bit more sensitivity and flexibility than this person could offer me at a time when I was quite vulnerable (which I expressed). I would have preferred they "let it go" so someone else could see me another day to avoid the unpleasant experience. To be clear, technically speaking, apart from the bangs, it was quite good. Once dry, the cut was pretty close to what I was looking for (and I wasn't too attached to my expectations), they did correct the unevenness I had created myself, and the cut itself was well done (hence the third star). My problem is with the attitude/customer service. They also charged me less than I expected, since I asked them not to style or blow-dry my hair. They also don't charge extra for curly hair products at the salon, unlike some other places, which is appreciated. I'm quite surprised, because many of my friends are very happy with this salon (which is why I chose it). If I were to return, I might try to get someone else to help me."

"I went to get my beard trimmed and left with a perfect beard and dangerously high self-esteem. The service was friendly, professional, and with that touch of trust that makes you feel in good hands from the very first moment. You can tell they know what they're doing: they listen to what you want, offer even better advice, and the result is impeccable. The barbershop is meticulously maintained, the atmosphere is relaxed, and time flies by. They don't just "fix" your beard here; they work on it with care and surgical precision. I'll definitely be back… and a word of warning: you might find yourself looking in the mirror a little too much on your way out 😉"
